Teams that advance to the Final Round of the Competition are adjudicated by a panel of senior investment banking professionals and office heads, while presenting in front of an audience of over 500 students and finance professionals at the annual NIBC Gala Dinner.

Harry Pokrandt

Harry recently transitioned from the Institutional Sales desk to his current role as Managing Director in the Metals & Mining Group in Vancouver at Macquarie Capital. Harry joined Macquarie from its acquisition of resource-focused investment bank boutique Orion Securities Inc., where he worked in Institutional Sales for over 20 years. Since then, Harry has worked on numerous financing and advisory assignments in the metals and mining sector.

Craig Dudra

Craig Dudra is the Co-Head of RBC Capital Markets’ Vancouver investment banking office, and has over 15 years of investment banking experience. Over his career, Craig has developed extensive expertise in the structuring, marketing, pricing and allocation of equity financings, and also has significant experience with buy / sell-side M&A assignments, most recently with a natural resource focus. Craig spent three years on RBC's Equity Capital Markets desk in Toronto working with mining clients around the world before recently returning to Vancouver in 2011. Craig was named one of Business in Vancouver’s Top 40 Under 40, is a Chartered Accountant and CFA charterholder, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia.

Kathy Butler

Kathy Butler joined CIBC Capital Markets 20 years ago and has been involved in a number of mergers and acquisitions advisory mandates, as well as debt and equity financings for clients in sectors such as technology, telecom, consumer retail, industrial products, and forestry.

Ms. Butler holds an MBA (Honours) from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance (Honours) from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia.  She represented the technology industry on the BC Jobs and Investment Board and is currently on the Board of Governors of the Business Council of British Columbia.  Ms. Butler is on the board of CIBC World Markets Inc., CIBC Children’s Foundation and St. George’s Foundation, and a Partner of Social Venture Partners Vancouver.

Russell Green is a Director in Scotiabank’s Investment Banking group in Vancouver and has over 13 years of experience. Prior to joining Scotiabank, Mr. Green worked as an investment banking associate in the Diversified Industries Group for JP Morgan in New York, as well as in KPMG’s Corporate Finance practice in Toronto. Mr. Green has worked on a variety of merger & acquisition, strategic alternative and financing mandates across a range of businesses and sectors. Russell holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario (Huron College), a Master of Business Administration from McGill University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
