The 2022-2023 Final Round of the NIBC Global Competition will be held in Vancouver, Canada at the 5-Star Pan Pacific Hotel. Further information on the venue and surrounding area will be provided closer to the event.

Whistler

As the host of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games, Whistler is a world-renowned ski destination, with beautiful mountain vistas, ancient forests, crystal clear lakes rivers, and fresh, clean air. Much of what makes Whistler such a unique and memorable destination lies in its awe-inspiring and pristine natural surroundings. In addition to the excellent ski slopes, the Whistler Village offers a great après-ski scene with dining, shopping and nightlife.

Stanley Park

Featuring numerous lovely beaches, miles of well-maintained paved and dirt trails, Canada’s largest aquarium and an array of restaurants, Stanley Park is recognized as one of the greatest urban parks in the world. Plan a morning trip and spend the rest of the day exploring one of our other recommendations.

Granville Island

Hop on a water taxi, salute the view of the downtown skyline and get ready to spend an enjoyable day at Granville Island. Browse through the eclectic mix of shops, boutiques, galleries, and the bustling Public Market, where local food vendors and artisans come out to sell their creations.

Olympic Sites

For those who did not have the opportunity to attend the 2010 Winter Olympic Games, the Olympic Venues Tour will give you a behind the scenes look at the many venues in and around Vancouver that played host to many of the sporting competitions. Venues include the Canada Hockey Place, Pacific Coliseum, and the UBC Thunderbird Arena.

Gastown

This historic district’s cobblestone streets are lined with Victorian buildings that today house everything from souvenir shops and First Nations galleries to stylish clothing boutiques.
